January 23, 2021
Heaven's Road is a group dedicated to sharing the testimony of Jesus Christ with others that do not know Him. We want to pray and help those in need within our community and around the world for God's glory and not of our own. We are simply servants of almighty God, our heavenly Father who loves us so much that He sent His own Son to die on the cross for our sins. This is a new group that I felt led by God to create and looking for some brothers or sisters in Christ to help manage or coordinate this group as a way in fellowship with each other. May God receive all glory, honor and praise for this work.

Testimony of Faith from our dear sister, Berni Gray Kuzemchak
July 18, 2021
I grew up in the church and have been a part of the church my entire life. I knew that I needed to follow Christ and was baptized by Pat Mannon when I was 11 years old. Being compelled to rise up during the invitation song and make my walk forward was only the beginning of my faith testimony. Faith changes your perspective on the world around you. At the time of my baptism, my parents had been separated for some time, but watching her example and unceasing faith, my mother prayed earnestly for his return to our family and that it would be restored.
Now a disclaimer: just because we ask for something in prayer does not mean that it is immediately answered; God’s timing is perfect. I’m going to repeat that; His timing (not ours) is PERFECT! It wasn’t until I was in college that my parents were reunited and renewed their vows. It was a wonderful day filled with God’s perpetual blessings. Seeing how long we waited but in faith knew there would be a day that my father would return to his family, gave us hope.
There have been many ups and downs throughout my life; the joy of marrying a wonderful and faithful man, the excitement of a life growing within me and faithfully praying for his well being followed by agonizing dejection upon hearing of my father’s cancer diagnosis. My admiration grew for my father when I saw how brave he was and I knew his determined faith kept him going to the bitter end. He earned his reward the day he passed through Heaven’s gates on July 3rd, 2012.
Life is filled with roller coaster emotions like these and they may not be exactly what you’re going through at the time but we have all walked in similar shoes. My faith has grown knowing that no matter what life has thrown at me whether it was frustrations with moving, school redistricting, building a home, my son’s ADHD diagnosis, his differing medications, making friends and adjustments, that God was and will always be there for me, for my family and friends. He will never leave your side and will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 tells us, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; and do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Isaiah 41:10 also says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God! I will strengthen you, I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
My friends, I hope this encourages you as you walk in faith throughout your life! Know that you’re never alone, that God is always with you and that you have friends and family praying for you.
*In memory of my father, Thomas Dean Gray and honor of my precious mother who has never given up, Virginia Lee Gray.

Bible: zondervan (new international version)
Mark 13:1-37
The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times
13 As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!”
2 “Do you see all these great buildings?” replied Jesus. “Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”
3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John and Andrew asked him privately, 4 “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are all about to be fulfilled?”
5 Jesus said to them: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 6 Many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and will deceive many. 7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 8 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.
9 “You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues. On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them. 10 And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. 11 Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
12 “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. 13 Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
14 “When you see ‘the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it does not belong—let the reader understand—then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 15 Let no one on the housetop go down or enter the house to take anything out. 16 Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. 17 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 18 Pray that this will not take place in winter, 19 because those will be days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now—and never to be equaled again.
20 “If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them. 21 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it. 22 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 23 So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time.
24 “But in those days, following that distress,
“‘the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light;
25 the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’
26 “At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. 27 And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.
28 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 29 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that it is near, right at the door. 30 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
The Day and Hour Unknown
32 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come. 34 It’s like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge, each with their assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch.
35 “Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. 36 If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. 37 What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’”

Plan of Salvation: How to become a Child of God
Salvation through Our LORD, Jesus Christ
God, who is full of love, mercy and grace wanted to save you and me from our sins which is death. The penalty for our sins is total separation from God for eternity. God loves us so much, that He had a plan of salvation that would save not just you and me, but the entire world. There is only one road to heaven and that is through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. God sent His only begotten Son to earth in form of God and man and He was sacrificed for us because Jesus took our sin debt for us, so that we could be set free from the bondage of sin and spend eternity with God. Jesus was beaten, cursed at, and a crown of thorns was placed on His head. He was nailed to a cross at a place called Calvary where he suffered, shed His blood and died for our sins, past, present and future sins for the entire world. That’s how much God loves you. It’s a free gift that God has given to us. All you have to do is accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and ask him to come into your heart and to forgive you of your sins. Jesus will work in your life and change your life that is full of joy, love and happiness. Yes, because we are saved does not mean that we’re perfect or that we won’t face troubles or illnesses in our lives. God uses certain situations to get our attention and to strengthen our faith and trust in Him. God has the best plan for our lives and trust me, it’s all worth it. To ask Jesus into your life, pray this simple prayer below and if you are sincere, then you will be saved and your name will be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life and will never be erased. God will send a helper, the Holy Spirit to help guide you on your new journey to heaven. So come and join the family of God!
To become a child of God, pray this prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite you to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. If you sincerely asked Jesus into heart and life, welcome to the family, God’s family my brother and sister in Christ. We are so glad you are part of the family.
In Christ’s Love,
Heaven’s Road
