Heaven's Road is a group dedicated to sharing the testimony of Jesus Christ with others that do not know Him. We want to pray and help those in need within our community and around the world for God's glory and not of our own. We are simply servants of almighty God, our heavenly Father who loves us so much that He sent His own Son to die on the cross for our sins. This is a new group that I felt led by God to create and looking for some brothers or sisters in Christ to help manage or coordinate this group as a way in fellowship with each other. May God receive all glory, honor and praise for this work.

New Prayer Request
Sister: Terri Williamson
Saturday evening, my youngest son (age 28) was slip n sliding at a friend’s house with all of their kids. The dads were having just as much fun as the kids, or more. Brett ending up hitting his tailbone on a rock while sliding... 1 inch fracture in his tailbone. He’s in a lot of pain so 1) please say a prayer for quick healing and less pain and 2) that he can return to work and be able to work without a lot of issues. He is a welder so it requires lifting, bending, sitting etc to get to where he is welding.
Thank you in advance! All prayers are genuinely appreciated.

Riley Howell, was one of the shooting victims at UNCC who died. He died a hero. He jumped on the shooter to try and stop him and was shot and killed in the process. He may not have stopped the shooter but he occupied him while others were able to get to safety and giving police time to get to the shooter. Pass this on in honor of Riley Howell.

My brothers and sisters, please pray for our family. We're going through a very difficult time. Our sweet pup, Rascal, who is 18 years old will be put down tomorrow. She has been with us since she was six months old. We love her so much and she has been by my side that last couple of years when I was going through a difficult time with my health. She knew I was not feeling well and would cuddle up to me when I slept. She will be sorely missed. It hurts deeply because she's like one of our children. I love you Rascal and will miss you dearly.

Mark 11:1-33
Jesus Comes to Jerusalem as King
As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and just as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. 3 If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly.’”
4 They went and found a colt outside in the street, tied at a doorway. As they untied it, 5 some people standing there asked, “What are you doing, untying that colt?” 6 They answered as Jesus had told them to, and the people let them go. 7 When they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks over it, he sat on it. 8 Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut in the fields. 9 Those who went ahead and those who followed shouted,
“Hosanna!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
10 “Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!”
“Hosanna in the highest heaven!”
11 Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple courts. He looked around at everything, but since it was already late, he went out to Bethany with the Twelve.
Jesus Curses a Fig Tree and Clears the Temple Courts
12 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. 14 Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.
15 On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple courts and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves, 16 and would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts. 17 And as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’”
18 The chief priests and the teachers of the law heard this and began looking for a way to kill him, for they feared him, because the whole crowd was amazed at his teaching.
19 When evening came, Jesus and his disciples went out of the city.
20 In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21 Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!”
22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” [26] Matt. 6:15
The Authority of Jesus Questioned
27 They arrived again in Jerusalem, and while Jesus was walking in the temple courts, the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders came to him. 28 “By what authority are you doing these things?” they asked. “And who gave you authority to do this?”
29 Jesus replied, “I will ask you one question. Answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things. 30 John’s baptism—was it from heaven, or of human origin? Tell me!”
31 They discussed it among themselves and said, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will ask, ‘Then why didn’t you believe him?’ 32 But if we say, ‘Of human origin’ …” (They feared the people, for everyone held that John really was a prophet.)
33 So they answered Jesus, “We don’t know.”
Jesus said, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.”

Plan of Salvation: How to become a Child of God
Salvation through Our LORD, Jesus Christ
God, who is full of love, mercy and grace wanted to save you and me from our sins which is death. The penalty for our sins is total separation from God for eternity. God loves us so much, that He had a plan of salvation that would save not just you and me, but the entire world. There is only one road to heaven and that is through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. God sent His only begotten Son to earth in form of God and man and He was sacrificed for us because Jesus took our sin debt for us, so that we could be set free from the bondage of sin and spend eternity with God. Jesus was beaten, cursed at, and a crown of thorns was placed on His head. He was nailed to a cross at a place called Calvary where he suffered, shed His blood and died for our sins, past, present and future sins for the entire world. That’s how much God loves you. It’s a free gift that God has given to us. All you have to do is accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and ask him to come into your heart and to forgive you of your sins. Jesus will work in your life and change your life that is full of joy, love and happiness. Yes, because we are saved does not mean that we’re perfect or that we won’t face troubles or illnesses in our lives. God uses certain situations to get our attention and to strengthen our faith and trust in Him. God has the best plan for our lives and trust me, it’s all worth it. To ask Jesus into your life, pray this simple prayer below and if you are sincere, then you will be saved and your name will be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life and will never be erased. God will send a helper, the Holy Spirit to help guide you on your new journey to heaven. So come and join the family of God!
To become a child of God, pray this prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite you to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. If you sincerely asked Jesus into heart and life, welcome to the family, God’s family my brother and sister in Christ. We are so glad you are part of the family.
In Christ’s Love,
Heaven’s Road
